Antonio McLendon [2021] - My Baby [First Child Music]

Antonio (Charles) McLendon was born in Philadelphia, but now lives in The Bronx, New York and currently performs with The World Famous Harlem Gospel Choir. There is another artist from Connecticut with the same name.

Whilst this may' appear' to be his debut single, he is certainly no newcomer having supported many established artists such as Gladys Knight,  Patti LaBelle , James Ingram and Donna Summer amongst their ranks.

He released "My Baby" on 25 Aug 2021, where his voice has similarities with the great Luther!

Via his website I found his version of the Bacharach & David song made into a classic by Luther Vandross "A House Is Not A Home" (below). I also found a video of a 2019 audition for The Voice where he sings Leon Russell's "A Song For You".

His daughter Samara is also a talented singer who won The Sarah Vaughan Vocal Jazz Competition in 2019.
