Released today (13 Aug 2021), 'presumably' to celebrate
Philadelphia International's 50th anniversary
year, is this compilation "Philadelphia International Records: The
Remixes, Volume 2" of Philly classics remixed by some heavy weight
DJs/remixers such as Joey Negro/Dave Lee, Frankie Knuckles, Danny
Krivit, DJ Reverend P and others.
There are simply too many of the 22 classic tracks to try and isolate
just one but I never tire of hearing The O'Jays 1972 classic
"Backstabbers" and DJ Reverend P's 10:29 minute epic is sublime.
