A breaker this week on the UK Soul Chart (Starpoint) is a southern soul
style tune "Good Love" from an artist named Show Tyme released on 20 Aug 2021.
Luroner 'Show Tyme' Brooks is from Trenton, NJ. He got his stage name "Show
Tyme" from Case when he was working with him. In 2013 he collaborated with
Big Daddy Kane to form Las Supper who released an album "Back To The
future". He also featured on Pharoahe Monch (a rapper from Queens, NY) album
"Desire" in 2007 and has performed with Case, Donell Jones, K Ci & Jojo,
Guru, Jodeci, Musiq Soulchild and Kelly Price amongst others.
He appears to have released around six solo singles and an album ("Love
Truth") since 2018.
It is quite remarkable when trying to find some info about him how many
artists there are with the name Show Tyme/ Showtyme, there's even another
from Jersey which is confusing!
