Jay King was the founder of the 80s/90s group
Club Nouveau, born out of the break up of
Timex Social Club after only a year, in 1986.
He's released his third solo album "Soulful Bossanova" which is only
available direct from his website. The lead single from the album is
"All Your Love (All Night Long)" which he posted on his YT channel at
the end of June. I can't find anywhere selling it so I guess the only
way to get it is by buying the album?
He describes the album as "a mixture of jazz, rhythm & blues, samba
and Brazilian new trend (bossa nova) and its a beautiful blend of
instruments, voices and lyrics", but there are no sound samples available
to preview, so it looks like a case of buying blind, but if the single is anything to go by, it could be pretty good?
