Elshay (who I believe may be Samir Elshafie who wrote the song) is from East London and cut his teeth on Grime
music. His latest single "Pride" (released 17 Aug 2021) is on that fine line between neo soul and R&B and is quite edgy. It
veers on the 'right' side for me and I quite like it. It reminds me of recent
Children Of Zeus material, who did quite well, so who knows, this could go
the same way?
