A new single "Fly (For Mike)" (released 16 Jul 2021) from
Nate Smith featuring Brittany Howard which is probably more
for the connoisseurs as this is very jazz oriented (Smith is a jazz
drummer). Brittany Howard was last featured here in March with a remix by Fred Again
& Joy Anonymous of "Stay High again..." which I loved but it appears no one else did!
It is a dual single (two pre-released tracks from a forthcoming album Kinfolk2: See The Birds due 17 Sep) with another track titled "Square Wheel" which is what I'd describe as 'jazz hop' (for the jazz-heads and not the
faint-hearted!) and features Michael Mayo (whose debut album "Bones" was posted a few weeks back) and Kokayi on rap duties.
