Rod Harris Jr. is a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/guitarist from
Atlanta, GA who released his debut album "The Counsel Of Elders" in 2016,
but he'd released around five or six singles prior to that since 2013.
He, along with Saunders Sermons (a trombonist from Miami who won a
Grammy for his work with Maxwell), has just released a four track EP
consisting of Isley Brothers covers.
The first track "Make Me Say It Again Girl" (from "The Heat Is On" 1975)
was also covered recently by Tiffany Bynoe
(previously known as Tene Williams) in March.
The other tracks are "Sensuality" (also from "The Heat Is On") "Midnight
Sky", a single from 1974 taken from "Live It Up" and "Work To Do" a single
from 1972 included on the "Brother, Brother, Brother" album.
