Franklin (Sinclair) (Global Soul Radio) played a track on Friday
evening in the new music hour (which was actually two hours this week)
by Barbara Lomas. I enquired about it and he told me he found it on YT
but was unable to find it again, but like a dog with a bone I
investigated, as it was a great track, and managed to find it. Unfortunately it's not the full track, but I've left a message on the video asking if/when it will be made available.
It transpires that the track was recorded in the early 90s and Barbara
Lomas is Barbara Joyce (Lomas), a member of B.T. Express, who also
released about five solo singles between 1971 and 1984, one being a
disco/boogie version of the B.T. Express' 1974 funk classic
"Do It (Til You're Satisfied)".
Time to check out some of those B.T. Express B sides and album tracks methinks!
