Omar Wilson [2021] - If You Think You're Lonely Now [BSE Recordings]

A new cover of the Bobby Womack deep soul ballad from his iconic 'The Poet' album from 1981 on Beverly Glen has been released by Omar Wilson on 16 Apr 2021. A brave move tackling the legendary 'Last Soul Man', but I think he's pulled it off.

K-Ci (Cedric Hailey) of K Ci & JoJo also did a nice version in 1994.

Wilson is from Norwall, CT and is a three time Apollo winner from 2007. He released his first single 'Never Again' in 2012 and his debut album 'Living Legend' in 2019.
