This 40 minute live mix by DJ Destruction (posted on 19 Feb 2021) 'crept'
onto my YT playlist and what a joy it was watching a maestro at work. DJ Destruction is Ross Emmins who is a UK DJ/producer who was a UK finalist in DMC (Disco Mix
Club) championships 30 years ago in 1991 aged only18.

Let's face it, almost anybody can mix digitally on a laptop or with CDJ's
but the ability to live mix with vinyl, especially short 7" 45s, is an
art. All the tunes are from between 1974-79.
In 40 minutes he mixed 33 tracks and many of these he 'double-mixed' (i.e. mixed them with themselves, so I reckon there were another 10 mixes if you include these, each mix is probably less than a minute long).  He was mixing these tracks almost quicker than I could type out the titles!  As the Yanks would say 'Good Job!'.
Disco got a bad name, mainly
from mainstream record labels jumping on the bandwagon of the success of
The Bee Gees and the movie 'Saturday Night Fever' releasing crass material by mainly
white pop artists, but in it's original form there was some great music
      produced.

OK, there are a few 'dodgy' tracks included, but marvel at his skill in
      mixing them.
