An artist that I have only recently discovered is Danielle Ponder, from
Rochester, NY, who debuted in 2016 with a seven track EP 'Blow Out The
Sun' billed as Danielle Ponder & The Tomorrow People. In 2018 she quit
her job as lawyer at Monroe County Public Defender’s office to pursue a
music career.
She's a 'real' soul singer, none of that 'whiny'/auto-tuned R&B
nonsense to be heard here! Her songs also have a social message, so deep,
meaningful and soulful!
I thought I'd catch up with what she has released so far and have linked
to all her tracks available on Spotify. The debut EP doesn't appear to be
on there but she has the whole EP (with full length tracks) on her website
which I've linked to.
