Raja-Nee' Feat. ThaSaint and Wilfred Frelix [2021] - Come And Get This Love [JARF Music Group]

A smooth new single from Raja-Nee' which I think came out in Sep. last year on John 'ThaSaint' Morris' album but is being pushed again and re-released on 22 Mar 2021 to promote a forthcoming album 'The Sovereign' in May.

There has been a dearth of new releases this week, possibly, they may be holding off release until the new tax year in April, I don't know, but  if I manage to find another 11 good ones they will join this in this week's 'Dirty Dozen'.

A little bit of digging revealed that she was active in 1994 and released a few singles and an album 'Hot & Ready'. She had a UK #42 hit with 'Turn It Up' in Mar. 1995.

She was spotted by Marshall Thompson of The Chi-Lites who mentored her and she toured with The Chi-Lites and performed on their 1990 'Just Say You Love Me' album. Later she signed to a deal with Auto & Cherokee who got her an audition with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis which led to a solo project on their Perspective label where they produced her hit track 'Turn It Up' which also featured on 'A Low Down Dirty Shame' movie soundtrack. 

I believe her real name is Renee Knott-Freeman.
