Everis [2021] - What U Doing 2 Me Nana Remix / Main Mix / Anyway [JGM]

The new single from Everis (Pellius) was released on vinyl only on 26 Nov 2021 backed with a cover of Terry Garmon’s classic “Any Way” recorded live in Paris France with his band Karltone. The digital release will be available exclusively from his website from 10 Dec 2021.

The song "What U Doing 2 Me" samples McFadden & Whitehead's "I've Been Pushed Aside" from 1979. It's a pre-release track that he's putting out whilst working on his new album.

Escort [2021] - Cocaine Blues (JKriv Disco Bumps) [Glitterbox Recordings]

Escort's "Cocaine Blues" was originally released as a single in 2010 and now gets numerous remixes, the best of which for me is the JKriv Disco Bumps one which sounds like it's a mash-up of  Peoples Choice "Do It Anyway You Wanna" and Dillinger "Cocaine In My Brain".

The Dillinger song was originally on his "CB 200" album from 1976 but also appeared on a single stylised as "Cokane In My Brain". I thought there was a longer version of People's Choice but 1975 was pre 12" single days and even the album version ("Boogie Down U.S.A.") is the same length as the single, although there is an unofficial 12 mix.

Funkybeat is an Italian DJ Riccardo Maria Paone (Riky) from Bologna. Angela Johnson was a member of 90s group Cooly's Hot Box before embarking on a solo career releasing around six albums since 2002.

This is a remix of "Waiting On A Love", a track they did together in Jun 2021 which was released last week 25 Nov 2021.

Mousse T. & Sharon Phillips [2021] - Maybe In May (Reel People Remix) [Reel People Music]

This was posted along with the rest of the album ("Reel People The Remixes 2021 Edition") when released on 19 Nov 2021, but it's worth highlighting this track which seems to be getting most of the action. 

German/Turkish DJ Mustafa Gundogdu aka Mousse T. & the excellent Sharon Phillips (who I've yet to hear a bad track by) on "Maybe In May" the Reel People Remix. It has a section which uses parts of the  Ashford & Simpson song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"

It's been released previously in several versions e.g. Reflex Revision around 2018/19 and the same version in 2020.
