Nightmares On Wax [2021] Shout Out! To Freedom... [Warp Records] (Full Album) John Halnon, and then later with Kevin Harper

Nightmares On Wax were found in 1998 in Leeds by George Evelyn,  John Halnon, and then later with Kevin Harper.

They released a new album "Shout Out! To Freedom..." last week that Leigh 'The Flava' Taylor alerted me to bur didn't get around to posting.

"Creator SOS", "Own Me" and "Isolated" and "Up To Us" being the standouts on first listen.

I also found a live performance video which features the following tracks:

Intro - 00:00

Creator SOS - 05:15
3D Warrior - 09:51
Miami 80 - 18:31

Doc City [2021] - Welcome to Doc City [Self Released] (Full Album)

Definitely the album of the day (so far). This is a classy, jazz flavoured, album from Doc City titled "Welcome to Doc City". It is the only release listed on DSPs but he did release at least one other album "Kindred Spirits" in 2002.

Doc City is an alias/stage name for Clarence Taylor, MD (hence Doc?), who wrote all eight original songs.  The two other songs are covers of Sade's "Sweetest Taboo" and an Irving Berlin song  "What'll I Do".

My standouts are "What Love Is", "Did You Choose?", "Sweetest Taboo", "No Goodbyes" along with "When You Are Near" and "Heart Just Won't Give Up" now that the album has been more fully digested. It really is a classy album for connoisseurs.

Try as I might, I'm not able to find any info about the artist which makes me wonder whether this has been in the can for years and only just released?

UPDATE:
Thanks to whoever it was who left a comment with some details about the band.

Keyboardist/vocalist Clarence Taylor, M.D. presents an album which reflects his eclectic view of music -- it's a smooth jazz creation blending soul, funk, Latin, blues and much more. He's joined by Joe Hunter, Carol Veto, Steve Cox, Kenny Davis, Bob Ferazza, Dan Wall, Kenny Anderson, Cedric Napoleon, John Morton, Tony McClung and others.

An anonymous comment was left directing me to Doc City's website and has confirmed that this is indeed a new album and not previously unreleased recordings.

Emily Mell [2021] - Here and Now (The Amelioration Part III) [Self Released]

Emily Mell (Melluish) is a new artist from Harlow, Essex, who has just released her fifth single this year "Here and Now (The Amelioration Part III)". She is working ong her debut EP "The Amelioration" and her last two singles were also  subtitled "The Amelioration Part II and Part I" so presumably all three will appear on it eventually?

Rabbitt Feat. The Grouch [2021] - Ask My Name [Self Released]

Rabbitt (aka Jessica Kukaua) is from the Wailuku district of  Maui  in Hawaii. Her latest single "Ask My Name" was released today (5 Nov 2021) which features west coast producer/rapper The Grouch.

A difficult one to categorise, contemporary but with a retro feel.
