Jb Rose [2021] - Gold [High Pitch]

Jb Rose is a South London artist who now calls herself 'the singing vegan mum' and is also a playright and runs her own theatre company (Tell Tarra). 

Her new single was released yesterday (30 Apr 2021) and she is working on an album which will be titled 'Jubilee'.

She was a member of Maximum Style (aka 4 Hero / Tom & Jerry) in the 90s who were a jungle/drum & bass outfit who released an album ('Keep The Style') and a handful of singles including 'Admit to Love', 'Wake Up' and  'It's Not A Waste' popular on the underground scene. She also released several solo singles in the 90s such as 'Time 4 Love' and 'What's On your Mind'.

Her last single 'Back To Love' was released last year (video below). I've also added a cover of Anita Baker's 'Giving You The Best That I Got', which she recorded with Maximum Style on the album 'Keep The Style', and has recently posted it on her YT channel, I wonder if this will be included on her album?

The new single (released 29 Apr 2021) from Candace Woodson who had a UK Soul Chart #1 with the wonderful 'The Answer Is No', originally released in 2016 but appeared on her 'Desire' album in 2019 on Expansion. She had another hit with Tom Glide on 'Free'.

A neo soul/gospel tune from J the Producer from Austin (Round Rock), TX, released 24 Apr 2021.

Since his debut album in 2018 he's released around nine singles/EPs. He states on his website that he's an: "R&B artist that focuses on the chaos of the world and the solutions needed for real change and formats it into a catchy song that has substance."

Kali Akeylah [2021] - Best Friend [Self Released]

I've been scratching around a bit in the last couple of days trying to find decent tracks to post. This one is one of the better ones from what appears to be a debut release from Kali Akeylah from Miami, released yesterday (30 Apr 2021). She states on her Instagram that an EP is due in June.

I found a couple of songs on ReverbNation and she also has some more material on SoundCloud.

Shelley FKA DRAM [2021] - Shelley FKA DRAM [W.A.V.E. Recordings]

Shelley formerly known as DRAM (Does. Real. Ass. Music.) releases his first album under his new name on 29 Apr 2021. A couple of the tracks from the album ('Cookin' with Grease' and 'The Lay Down' with H.E.R. & WATT) were pre-released at the end of March and posted here.

Hampton City, VA, based Shelley Marshaun Massenburg-Smith was born in Germany and debuted with a mixtape in 2014.

The current single from the album is 'All Pride Aside' (video below which is different from the album version as the album version features Summer Walker).

The album is a mellow affair, with the best tracks for me being 'Something About You', the previously posted 'Cookin' On Grease' and the album version of 'All Pride Aside' as it features the female vocals of Summer Walker which sweetens the track.
